Architecture

Hapax has taken a layered approach to architecting its products, with three primary objectives:

  • Flexibility: building technology upon a central, linguistic foundation layer permits us to leverage our core competencies into new business solutions and markets. We build upon our linguistic strengths to address a broad range of business challenges.

  • Integration: all components of Hapax technology are interfaced via XML and an SDK/API layer, with a rich set of command and control functions that permits us to combine components freely, across multiple platforms and locations, and with complete customer control. There are few operating environments into which Hapax technology cannot integrate.
  • Quality: managing our software base with a layered component strategy means that maintenance, improvement and troubleshooting are held within a manageable scope.  The impact of any change is confined to a finite set of components; ripple effect is minimized; and risk is contained.

The benefits to the customer and to our own internal processes have been proven over time: Hapax technology consistently meets the challenge, even as the challenge is redefined.
